Laura Coenen, President and CEO, brings more than 30 years of industry leadership and management experience to Sunshine with a focus on streamlining procedures and processes using technology. She’s been President and CEO of Sunshine, a 100% Woman Owned Business, since 2015. Prior to Sunshine she was Senior VP of Operations for TEAM Software, an ERP Software leader in the janitorial and security market. The technology expertise and leadership she acquired at TEAM Software has been instrumental in helping Sunshine integrate software and technology to improve quality, service, and communications to Sunshine’s accounts. Her leadership and guidance have allowed Sunshine to increase revenue, cut expenses and become a more profitable organization driving results through strategic goals and teamwork.
Randy Kierce, Chief Operating Officer, Randy has over 25 years of industry experience and works closely with Sunshine’s airport division, as well as our other janitorial accounts. As head of operations, Randy has extensive experience in contract building maintenance with hands on experience in all phases of janitorial, window cleaning, carpet care, floor care, and pressure cleaning services. Randy plays an instrumental role in the development and ongoing maintenance of our training, safety program, and quality control initiatives, along with job-starts and project management.
Dave Dyrek, EVP Sales and Marketing, oversees sales and marketing programs for the company. He develops formal bid qualifying proposals and submittal materials for purchasing committees and delivers shortlist presentations. Dave develops sales strategies, customer retention initiatives, generates marketing materials, directs employee engagement and development programs, and assists in establishing corporate policies and objectives. Throughout his career, Dave has been involved in various team initiatives and operational enhancements to foster growth for the company.
Rishi Bajnath, Controller, assists with monthly invoicing for Sunshine’s accounts throughout Florida and the Carolina region. Rishi prepares monthly utilization reports, monitors and submits subcontractor payroll checks, manages accounting records, produces reports, and ensures all liability certificates are current.
Krissy Mulder, Human Resources Director, brings nearly two decades of Human Resources experience to Sunshine, focusing on strategic planning and national employment law expertise. Krissy’s progressive technical resources, prolific communications, and robust development programs have led to a significant cost reduction in many areas of operations. She is particularly familiar with employee benefits administration, worker’s compensation management, policy and procedure development, progressing company culture, and mediating disputes. Krissy also serves as the Compliance and Safety Officer increasing training, development, and facilitation.
Jenna Auckland, Marketing Director, brings her extensive experience as a Marketing Executive in the hospitality industry to Sunshine. She currently leads Sunshine’s marketing and communications team focusing on brand awareness, reputation management, customer relationships, demand generation, marketing automation and technology, digital marketing, search engine optimization, and event marketing. Well versed in modern marketing methodologies, Jenna has vastly improved Sunshine’s position in the industry.
Derek Auckland, Florida Operations Manager has over 10 years of experience at Sunshine serving in several key positions. In his first role as operations manager Derek established himself as a leader with superb project management skills. From there he became a territory manager overseeing contracts in all service divisions throughout the state of Florida. Derek continued to broaden his competencies by joining the sales team where he also excelled. Derek’s wide-ranging talents, leadership, and knowledge of budgets, equipment, developing teams, quality control principles, process improvement, and attention to customer needs have greatly benefited Sunshine.
Erin Calufetti, Director of Window Cleaning and Accounts Receivable, brings over 20 years of experience to Sunshine. Erin started at Sunshine as a receptionist and assistant to Sunshine’s founder, her father, Larry Calufetti and transitioned into supervising the Window Cleaning Division. As head of the Window Cleaning Division, she handles all inquiries, scheduling, billing, and customer relations. Erin also serves as Accounts Receivable, managing all invoicing for the company, both commercial and residential, as well as monitoring daily deposits, cash flow, invoice aging and past due collections. Erin’s well versed overview of Sunshine’s accounts and software, keen understanding of the back office responsibilities and strong customer relationship management skills have made her an instrumental part of the company.
Mike Woodson, Director of Sales and Quality Control/ Assurance, has been responsible for solidifying Sunshine’s Quality Control measures and has made a great impact in working with project managers and supervisors in bolstering QC efforts companywide and in utilizing Sunshine’s eHub quality monitoring software package. Mike has over sixteen years of janitorial management, operations, and quality control experience.
