(South Florida) – Arc Broward, which operates nine locations and numerous programs to support people with disabilities so that they may live, learn work, play and thrive in the community, was the most recent beneficiary of Shine with a Purpose. Launched in 2021 as part of Sunshine Cleaning Systems’ 45th anniversary, the program provides free disinfecting services to United Way of Broward agencies.
According to Derek Auckland, Florida Operations Manager at Sunshine Cleaning Systems, LLC., the Sunshine team disinfected the preschool and administrative offices on the Sunrise campus.
“What a unique pleasure it was to support the beautiful Arc campus in Sunrise and to see first-hand the invaluable work they do in our community,” he said.
“We work with so many children and immune compromised individuals that this service has extra value to us,” stated Kim Vassar, Chief Development Officer for Arc Broward. “Thank you to Sunshine for providing this important gift to us, as we remain diligent about keeping our clients safe.”
