‘Tis The Season For Germs

With flu season and the ever-present COVID-19 virus gaining traction, now is the time to double down on disinfecting at the office and school. Our teams have the training, experience, and technology to keep your facilities safe and clean.

Training

Our employees are provided with extensive training to enable them to safely and thoroughly disinfect your facilities. They understand the proper use of disinfection equipment and materials and how to apply anti-microbial coatings.

In addition, managers have completed certifications provided by such organizations as the Worldwide Cleaning Industry Association (ISSA) and the Building Service Contractors Association International (BSCAI).

Experience

Since 1976, Sunshine Cleaning Systems has been cleaning and disinfecting a wide range of facilities – from schools to international airports. Our team has the experience in preparing for, responding to, and recovering from biohazards in the workplace, plus applying the most effective procedures available for combating numerous bacteria and viruses, including COVID-19 and its variants, MRSA, E coli, H1N1.

Technology

At the core of our signature Hygienic Clean service is electrostatic spraying, a technology Sunshine has been using since 2009. Since the pandemic, this service has become widely accepted and in demand as an effective method for removing infectious germs from all surfaces in all settings, from offices and schools to public bathrooms, airports, and other crowded, high-touch areas.

This service includes three levels. First, the contamination is confirmed, all surfaces are precleaning and two Electrostatic Spraying disinfecting applications are administered; and second, a site assessment with a qualified specialists is performed and all surfaces pre-cleaned, a full disinfection wipe down is completed with a concentration on high-touch areas. The last phase involves another site assessment and a repeat disinfecting spray.

Once a surface is properly disinfected and sanitized, we can include a coating with a special antimicrobial coating for an added layer of protection.

Electrostatic Spraying is effective because it involves a process called induction charging. Spray particles become positively charged as they pass through the spraying nozzle, creating an electrostatic field around them. These positively charged droplets are then attracted to negatively charged surfaces, including walls, floors, even the undersides of desks. Once they land on surfaces, the droplets dry quickly, killing viruses, bacteria or other microorganisms that may be present. The American Journal of Infection Control published a study in 2021 that found electrostatic spraying to be 99.99% effective in reducing contaminants.

Help keep your customers, employees, or students safe this cold, flu and COVID season with commercially applied and proven professional disinfecting services.
